"Stephanie Winn is one of the most open-hearted listeners I've had the pleasure to meet. She counsels from a place of deep listening, articulately offering reflections of wisdom to challenges with an old-soul-mother's care. She holds a deep devotion to her Kirtan, but is devoted not only to music, of which her voice sings with an angelic sweetness, but also in her relationships and depth of character, which inspirationally exemplifies all she does. She is a truly good being and has my deep trust and upmost respect."

Stephanie is a multiple-talented dynamic high being. Her presence in my life has brought much insight, clarity, sympathy, and laughter.
I have taken yoga with her, pinpointing some alignment issues I had that had gone unnoticed by other teachers which helped me love and care for my body more compassionately.
We have had many deep conversations ranging from work in the world, value, relationships, self care, diet, sexuality, friendship, family, forgiveness, spirit, play, manifestation, responsibility, education, children, time, medicine, music, environment... She is a deeply compassionate listener. She is articulate in bringing forth complex concepts in a way that is accessible. She is passionate and excitable. And she follows through and checks in about things we've previously discussed. She is solution oriented and has helped me in my life to dig through some hard uncomfortable emotions to the root to see what is really happening there.
Through her counsel, she helps empower me to find the answers that clearly lie within me. I am often in awe of Stephanie's intelligence. She is brilliant and razor sharp, witty and highly observant... Stephanie is insightful, able to perceive the subtle clues that are happening beneath the surface. She is endlessly curious, with a child-like wonder about the world, asking questions and really paying attention to the answers. She lives in gratitude, acknowledging the gifts that people bring into her life.
I have often been awe-struck by this potent powerful woman. Maybe never so much as when she is in the space of Devotional Music. I have witnessed her growth in the realm of Kirtan over 4 years. I can't even count the amount of times her soulful voice and embodied love of spirit has brought me to tears. Many times I watch in dazed wonder, completely in love with this creature as she melts wholly into the bhajans [songs]. She has grown tremendously her skill with the harmonium, but is masterful on mridunga. Calling in the those earthy rootsy beats through the surrendered flow of unison with her humanness. Its been less frequent lately that I get to do a Kirtan with Stephanie, but the blessing in that is I notice clearly her progress each time. I'm floored by her growth over time and how she has matured into such a sultry strong passionate singer.
And one last thing I want to mention is the gift of her Kirtan songbook. All of the time and energy poured forth into that project was always worth it, because she was filling a need for our community to take the practice of Kirtan to a deeper level. It is an invaluable tool for pronunciation of the Sanskrit chants. And she thoughtfully brought forth each new edition, having considered feedback from people and wanting to bring the best, most comprehensive tool forth as her love offering.
Stephanie Winn is truly a jewel and profound messenger of light in this time of transformation, with an elaborate tool kit to accommodate many of life's challenges. A trusted friend and confidante.
